The Firth of Forth on a really foul day. The rain was horizontal and the far shore kept disappearing as more rain drove in.
This shot could have been given more "wow", but I wanted to maintain that "gritty" look. It has been assembled from three images.
The rail bridge on the right is getting a new epoxy paint job. Hopefully it will last 20-30 years, finally ending the continuous repainting. The road bridge on the left apparently has a design problem, shared with many other suspension bridges world wide. The wires are breaking!
